THE STORY
I'm Gorka Di Capitan, an international photographer and videographer focused on visual storytelling, brand identity and premium content that performs. I picked up my first camera as a kid, and by the age of six I was making my own short films at home, Toy Story style, shooting stop motion with my Hot Wheels cars without knowing that was called stop motion: I just imagined and created. By 2014, after my studies, I was shooting professionally, filming weddings in my spare time while working at HURI, a television production company in Seville.
Moving to Scotland turned a change of life into a full commitment to the craft. Today I work year-round inside some of Edinburgh's most recognisable venues, and my campaigns have carried names like Gessi, Tennent's, Don Algodón and Cruzcampo, alongside music videos, weddings, events and personal brands across the UK and Spain.
I use photography and video as strategic tools: they say who you are and shape how you're perceived. That's why my clients range from established businesses refining their image to startups building momentum and creators turning themselves into real brands. Based in Edinburgh, operating between Scotland, Valencia and Ibiza, available worldwide.
