MY WORK WITH GESSI

Gessi is an Italian luxury brand specialising in high-end bathroom fixtures and wellness design. Known for their craftsmanship and attention to detail, their products sit at the intersection of architecture, design and lifestyle.

I was brought in to capture their new collection showcase at The Ivy on the Square in Edinburgh, directing the video production team and leading the photography. The brief was to document both the products and the atmosphere of the event, from the details of the collection to the experience of the guests discovering it.

It was a production job as much as a creative one. I shot the photography myself and brought in a trusted videographer to film under my direction, while Gessi's in-house team handled the video edit and I edited and delivered the photography. When a brand needs more than one pair of hands, part of my job is building the right small crew and keeping the standard consistent across it.

The photographs now live in Gessi's own library and will keep appearing across their social media for years to come, especially on LinkedIn, where the brand speaks to the architects and designers who specify its products.
