MY WORK WITH DON ALGODÓN

Don Algodón is a household name in Spanish fashion: a casual, contemporary label whose range runs from clothing and accessories to lifestyle products.

The brief was specific: a commercial for the launch of a new product, built first and foremost for Amazon, where a product lives or dies on how good it looks on the listing page.

The project was commissioned through Blue Bags SL, covering both Don Algodón and Coronel Tapiocca. The client wanted a big city look, so I chose Glasgow over Edinburgh: its raw urban architecture and New York inspired aesthetic gave the campaign a scale a postcard backdrop never would. Products were shipped directly to us and everything was shot on location in 2023.

The deliverables included product photography and commercial video content produced specifically for e-commerce platforms including Amazon, plus social media campaigns. And the commercial did its job: the product passed 3,500 sales on Amazon alone, and the collaboration carried on with a second campaign for Coronel Tapiocca.
