MY WORK WITH WEST NIC RECORDS

West Nic Records is the live music and events venue tucked beneath The Pear Tree in Edinburgh's Southside, a red-lit basement room built around gigs, club nights and cultural programming rather than a standard bar crowd.

Since 2025, I've been covering the venue's live sessions and events, from folk trios playing accordion and cajón to packed nights of dancing and celebration, capturing the kind of atmosphere that only comes through in a room built for music first.
