BEER GARDEN PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEOTHE PEAR TREE
SCOTLAND · SINCE 2021
MY WORK WITH THE PEAR TREE
The Pear Tree is one of Edinburgh's most beloved bars, known across the city for having the largest beer garden in Scotland. A historic venue in the Southside, it attracts a loyal local crowd year-round and draws thousands of visitors during the summer months.
Since 2021, I have worked as their photographer and videographer, creating content for social media and supporting the venue across its different spaces and events. In 2023, as part of their partnership with Coca-Cola, I produced the large-format prints displayed throughout the beer garden, bringing the campaign to life at scale within the venue itself.
The collaboration also extends to West Nic Records, the live music and events venue downstairs, where I've supported content creation for gigs, club nights and cultural programming.
During the 2024 Edinburgh Fringe, I also filmed Yes Ya Yebo, a South African cabaret and dance show performed as part of the Free Festival, capturing the energy of a touring production hosted at the venue.

Social content, event coverage and large-format prints hanging in the beer garden itself: some venues need photography at every scale. Tell me about yours.
