MY WORK WITH THE WINTON

The Winton is a country pub on the main street of Pencaitland, a village in East Lothian about half an hour's drive from Edinburgh. It reopened in the summer of 2022 after a full renovation and quickly became the kind of local every village wishes it had, with seasonal Scottish cooking coming out of the kitchen and a proper bar up front. My first shoots there date from those early days, when the napkins still carried the old name, The Winton Arms.

The 2026 galleries are the most recent visit: the new menu coming out of the kitchen, the team behind the bar and on the floor, the food landing on the tables and the events in between. There are more chapters on the way.
