MY WORK WITH ROSE STREET GARDEN

Rose Street Garden is Edinburgh's award-winning street food and cocktail garden, tucked behind The Dome just off Rose Street: a heated open-air terrace wrapped in living walls, bougainvillea and lemon trees, with wood-fired pizza and street food coming out of the kitchen and a cocktail list served in everything from tiki totems and parrot mugs to disco ball punch bowls and treasure chests. I have been producing its photography and video continuously since 2024.

Each season the garden reinvents itself around a new theme and a new drinks partnership, and every year I shoot the full menu from scratch. In 2026 that meant the Rose Street Riviera, with a sun-drenched striped studio set for the whole summer menu and a St-Germain bar takeover pouring hugo spritzes on the terrace; in 2024 and 2025 the garden was dressed in Bombay Sapphire blue, with branded floral arches over the entrance, and ran its Rose Street for the Rainforest campaign with the charity Cool Earth.

Alongside the menu photography I shoot the garden as it actually feels in summer: terraces full of guests under the flowers, servers crossing with trays of spritzes and dogs on the astroturf, so the venue's channels always have both polished menu assets and real atmosphere.
